Masks: Aftermath
It finally happened, as we all knew it would. The bombs fell. Nobody remembers who shot first. Not really, anyway. But the world retaliated, and we all paid the cost. Earth is now a wasteland. But AEGIS knew ahead of time. They had the difficult task of choosing who to save with their limited resources. Politicians, military, scientists, “important folk.” Through their grace we survived, but the exposure to radiation changed everyone. With newfound powers, we will brave the aftermath and retake the wasteland.

Paul
Paul’s day job is an accountant, which is probably why he’s the network’s Chief Financial Officer. He enjoys Magic: The Gathering, video games, and too many nerdy fandoms to count. He also co-manages the network’s Twitter/X and Bluesky Social Accounts.
Jackie
Malaclypse is the Delinquent of the group. It’s happy to wake up with powers, but would rather use them to cause mischief than put its life in danger. Still, it’s not one to abandon its friends when they need it, and uses its illusions, emotional control, and wits to try to keep the team safe.
Jackie aka Jax (they/them) is a “Jax” of all hobbies (and terrible puns). Writer, podcaster, voice actor, and mobile game enthusiast (to name a few), they spend their free time working on their projects, replaying the Dragon Age series for the thousandth time, and entertaining their two cats, Vincent and Thor.
Susy
Funny how the end of the world can put a pin on your quest to burn down your family’s empire.
Not at all unaware that her very survival was reaped by her family connections, Valerie “Val” Lawless enters the new world with a decision to start over. To let go of all the bitterness that had fueled her villainous ways and to start a new leaf as a Reformed member of this new…slapped together band of super… zeros.
After all, with her family long dead or frozen, what else was she going to do?
a huge nerd and lover of fantasy. Not just the genre, but IMAGINATION. So much so that she’s dedicated her time toward projects that build and reward imagination in others. From her gaming website, SassyGamers.com, to her fantastic publishing team at Grendel Press, she’s building a world with stories that she wants to live in one step at a time.
Ursa
Egon Ekane won the lottery! Unfortunately for him, this wasn’t land or wealth. This was a lottery to survive. Racked with the guilt of being the only survivor of his hometown, he struggles to find his place as this lonely teenage boy surrounded by people with extraordinary powers and personalities.

Jazz
Raised inside a bunker in the greater San Diego area to survive the apocalypse, Jitot was trained to be the perfect soldier from an early age, and willingly submitted to experiments to boost his physical performance so he could help the San Diego bunker forage for supplies in the nuclear wasteland. Don’t let his about business attitude and strict military mannerisms fool you though- Jitot has a heart of gold and loves to have a good time with his teammates.
Jazz is a member of the Dungeons and Dragons actual Play Podcast and streaming production, Gimme Da Loot (AKA GMDL), where he plays Fait. In addition to actual play work, Jazz and GMDL have actively worked to support the charity Game to Grow.
Marty
A relative nobody in the before times, being cryogenically frozen changed all that for Cal, who awoke from his frozen slumber to find he had the power to manipulate energy and light to his very will. Taking on the codename hardlight, he resolved alongside his allies to protect the San Diego bunker and help rebuild society after the apocalypse.
“…This guy again?”
Marty Balmer is your new favorite Actual Play performer, being able to do a range of voices and accents. In addition to this production, he is in a large number of TTRPG streams and podcasts.
But he’s more than just a TTRPG performer and audio editor- he’s also the keyboardist for Winter Wayfarer. When he isn’t making beautiful music or rolling dice, he’s taking on an ever-growing list of projects because he has no sense of self preservation.
Tensei
Before the fall, Jack Loche was a strong, gun-owning, red-blooded American. In his early thirties at the peak of physical prowess, Jack worked as a bouncer at a popular club in Las Vegas. It was, as many places are, a gathering place for one of the organized crime groups in the metropolis. Ever the professional, Jack made friends with a couple mafioso. Even ran a job for them every once in a while. Nothing big. A pick-up-and-drop here and there. After a botched job while drunk, Jack escapes to the only place he can think of that is safe. The future.
Tensei is a producer and technical consultant for streaming and podcasting. With a decade of production experience across a wide variety of podcasts, YouTube, and Twitch, they work to make sure every project they touch is the best it can be. When they aren’t working on their own projects, he is the biggest fan of yours.
A child at heart, Tensei takes most of his inspiration from a variety of “children’s” media such as Power Rangers, Ben 10, and Digimon. He loves to let everyone get their moments to shine.
